After dismissing Yasen Petrov, CL1 outfit Shijiazhuang Everbright appointed Afshin Ghotbi as their new head coach. The Iranian-American coach was in charge of Shijiazhuang from early 2017 and left in September, 2018. Like Yasen Petrov, it is his 2nd stint for him in Shijiazhuang.
